Jel Wins Big at the 2004 Dottie Awards

It was a big night for Jel, Inc. at the 2004 Dottie Awards (www.thedotties.com) held at the Crest Theater in downtown Sacramento. Now in its seventh year, the Dottie Awards honors the most creative, innovative and user-friendly websites of Northern California based businesses, government agencies, organizations and individuals.

Jel had eight sites nominated in three different categories and took the prize in all three. The biotechnology giant, Genentech (www.gene.com), was the winner in the Healthcare, Bio Tech and Agricultural Sciences category. Safestate (www.safestate.org), a tool for preventing crime and violence in California, won the Politics and Government category. A favorite in the Science, Agriculture and Engineering category, Blue Diamond (www.bluediamond.com), took home the third win for Jel.

Other nominated Jel websites include: Rituxan (www.rituxan.com), Roche U.S. Site (www.roche.us), California Chamber of Commerce (www.calchamber.com), City of Yuba City (www.yubacity.net), and Yuba City Police Department (www.ycpd.org).
